CONSULTATION:

If you haven’t experienced Avalon yet, or feel like you need a change to your current hair style or colour, we always recommend having a complimentary consultation beforehand. We have a wide range of talented hair stylists and colourists who would be happy to talk you through any change, whether it’s simply adding a few layers or a total style overhaul.

SKIN TEST:

At Avalon, our client’s health and wellbeing is one of our highest priorities. Although very rare, sometimes reactions to colour can happen, so in order to prevent this from happening; we operate a mandatory Skin Sensitivity test which must be completed at least 48 hours prior to any colour booking if you are a new client or have not visited Avalon within the last 6 months.

If a appointment needs to be cancelled due to incorrect information on your skin test time frame, 50% deposit will be taken.

ARE YOU BRINGING YOUR FURRY FRIEND?

We take pride in being a dog-friendly salon and welcome your canine companions. If you decide to bring your furry friend, we request they be fully house trained, vaccinated and friendly with other dogs and people. We provide a doggy bowl if required.

CANCELLATIONS:

We understand that sometimes schedules change and therefore request at least 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. A deposit is required to hold your appointment. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount.

Please note that appointments made within 24 hours may instead be cancelled or modified at least 4 hours prior to the appointment time in order to avoid a charge of 50% of the service amount.

LATENESS:

Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made. If we do not hear from you 15 or more minutes into your scheduled appointment time it is considered a “No-Show” and your card will be charged for 50% of the service scheduled.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS:

Whilst at Avalon although we will endeavor to keep your personal belongings safe and free from damage; we are unable to accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your personal possessions whilst on our premises. We will also take every precaution possible to protect your clothing from colour damage, but we also advise you to wear something appropriate in order to avoid any disappointment.

REFUNDS:

All services are non-refundable. However, we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge, if we determine it is needed.

The service must be a mistake from the service provider... not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed).  In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have one week to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 7 days past initial service date.
NO EXCEPTIONS!​

Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:

Avalon Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our team.

RETURN POLICY:

We are happy to return any retail products you purchased within 7 days of original purchase. No cash value is given however an in Salon credit will be issued.

CHILDREN:

We do not perform colour services on children under the age of 16.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult while a consultation is performed.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

Avalon Hair Studios Ltd accepts Visa, Master Card,  American Express and Cash.

RESERVATIONS:

We highly encourage you to request a reservation through our online booking site, so that you can view availability of your preferred stylist. You can also call the salon on 02083485501. A deposit is required to make a reservation and it will be kept on file for future reservations and any fees that may be incurred.

HEAD LICE:

It is against Salon Policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.

GIFT CERTIFICATE/CARD:

Gift certificates/cards  are valid for up to six months from the date of purchase and must be presented at time of service.

Copies of gift certificates/cards are not acceptable.

Please call Avalon concerning lost gift certificates.

All gift certificates/cards are non-refundable.

Gift certificates/cards are not redeemable for cash.

Gift certificates/cards are valid at Avalon only for all products and services available.
